Orange Pork Chops
From PinkHug!

6 pork chops
1/2 cup orange juice
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 cup brown sugar

Place pork chops in a roasting pan. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over pork chops. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, basting occasionally. Serves 6.

LUNCHBOX MAC AND CHEESE!

This may be served immediately. But when cooled and stored in refrigerator, you may cut it into squares and send off with the kids in a lunchboxes. And it's also a treat on picnics. Great served with cold cuts, or to just nibble on. It's certainly a family favorite at my house!

Prepare:
2 boxes of your favorite macaroni and cheese. Follow the direction on the box, and when finished add:
½ cup grated parmesean cheese
2 eggs
Mix together well. Pour into pammed or buttered baking dish.
Bake in 350º oven for 40 minutes.

You can add diced pimentps, or diced green chili peppers. Play with it...You can also make it from scratch...and if you do this, be sure to use canned
milk instead of regular milk for a heavenly creamier taste!

PARMESEAN POTATO ROUNDS

1/3 C. butter or margarine, melted
1/4 C. all-purpose flour
1/4 C. grated Parmesan cheese
Salt & pepper to taste
6 medium potatoes, each sliced into 4 rounds
Italian seasoning to taste

Pour butter into a 15-1/2in. x 10-1/2 inch baking pan. In a plastic bag, combine flour, cheese, salt and pepper. Shake a few potato slices at a time in the bag to coat with the flour mixture. Place potatoes in a single layer over the butter. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes. Turn slices and
sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Bake 30 minutes more or until tender. 6 servings.

The Sweet Potato Recipe
4 cups hot mashed sweet potatoes
1/2 cup butter   
2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup packed brown sugar

Topping
1/3 cup chopped pecans
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
2 Tablespoons flour

Mix together sweet potatoes, 1/2 cup butter and 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar. Beat in 2 (beaten) eggs, milk and 1/4 cup brown sugar. Pour mix into 1 1/2 quart casserole dish.
Mix topping mix together, sprinkle over top of potato mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to one hour. Don't let the top burn!


Krista's Hobo Roast

4 Hamburger patties
4 potatoes, quartered
1 small package baby carrots
season salt
chopped onions

In 13x9 pan, lay out aluminum foil. Place hamburger patties on foil, keeping enough foil on the outside to wrap over the top. Surround each patty with 4 pieces of potato. Place carrots on top of patty, sprinkle with season salt, and top
with onions. Cover with foil, bake at 350 degrees for one hour.

SWEET AND SPICY STEAK

1/2 cup chunky salsa
1/4 cup ketchup
2 Tblsp brown sugar
1 Tblsp Dijon-style mustard
4 beef chuck steaks, trimmed of fat

In a small bowl, combine the salsa, ketchup, brown sugar and mustard, set aside. Grill steaks over medium coals, for about 20 minutes or until they reach the desired doneness, turn occasionally. During the last 5 minutes of grilling, brush both sides with salsa mixture If you choose to serve the salsa mixture with the meat, be sure to heat it thoroughly to cook any meat juices in it from the basting.

Shipwreck

4 large potatoes
1 small onion
1 can pork and beans
1/4 cup uncooked rice
1 pound hamburger
1 quart tomato juice
1 tsp. salt
In buttered 3-quart casserole dish, slice potatoes thin. Chop onion fine and put on top of potatoes. Add the beans, rice, and hamburger in order given. Make sure hamburger is spread evenly over top, covering all vegetables. Sprinkle with salt and pour tomato juice over all.
Bake uncovered at 300-325 degrees for 3 1/2 hours or until hamburger is
done and vegetables are tender.


Stovetop Macaroni & Cheese

1 1/2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup minced onion
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper

In 2-quart saucepan, cook macaroni as directed on package; drain. Add remaining ingredients. Cook over low heat, stirring frequently, until cheese melts, about 5 minutes. Makes 6 servings

Beefy Rice Skillet

1 pound ground beef
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed beefy mushroom soup
1/4 cup water
1 can (14 1/2 oz.} tomatoes--undrained, cut-up
3/4 cup uncooked instant rice
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Coarsely crumbled tortilla chips

In large skillet, brown ground beef; drain. Stir in chili powder, soup, water, and tomatoes. Heat to a boil; reduce heat to low. Cover and cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in rice. Cover and remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Uncover; top with cheese and tortilla chips. Serves 4

Barbecued Beans and Franks

2 cans {16 oz. each} pork and beans
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
4 frankfurters--sliced

In large bowl, combine beans, brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and Tabasco sauce; pour into a shallow baking dish. Arrange sliced frankfurters on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes, or until bubbly hot.
Serves 4 to 6.

Nathalllie's Pork Chops
6 pork chops
1 Cup of Water
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of ketchup
1/4 cup of vinegar
1 cup of celery
1 cup of onions or carrotts
salt , pepper to taste

Put the pork chops in a square glass dish, and all the other ingredients on top of it , cover with foil and cook at 350°C for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

I love that dip or mousse as some call it . i just eat it with chips or with crackers yummy.

1 of 10 oz. of cream of mushroom soup
1 package 250g. philadelphia cream cheese
1 enveloppe of plain gelatin
1/4 cup of cold water
1/2 cup of celery
1/2 cup or green onions or onions chopped finely
1 cup of mayonnaise
1 can of corn beef

Heat the cream of mushroom and cream cheese together slowly, add gelatin that was dissolved with water, celery, onions, mayonnaise and the corn beef.
Put in a greased mold or a bowl and refrigerate until set and cold.
