This DVD is in new condition, but was removed from the
manufacturer's cellophane because the we could feel the DVD flopping around
inside the packaging, so we opened it and put the DVD back onto it's spool. The
surprise was that the DVD was still attached to it's spool, but the factory had
goofed and put a second DVD in the package with it. You get both DVD's for one
low price! Keep one, give the other away?
Converted to DVD, this 1943 film, stars
Barbara Stanwyck,
and Michael O'Shea, and was
nominated for an Oscar. From the back cover: "Sassy Dixie Dixon is the hot
new attraction at a former opera house that's been turned into a burlesque
theater. Many complications arise, leading to jealousy, deceit, blackmail and
ultimately murder!"
