Rattlesnake Eggs Envelope Gag

This Rattlesnake eggs in the envelope gag is a little low tech, requires no
batteries, and is both fun and effective!
To be honest, when we first received this item I myself was wary about opening
an envelope, and I ordered them! However, even knowing better, I took caution
opening this.
Here's how this works. The bobby pin looking thing has rubber bands attached at
either end, and each rubber band is attached to a steel washer in the middle.
You wind up (or load) the washer, making sure it doesn't unwind as you slide the
whole assembly into the envelope. Then fold over the envelope tab and either
hunt down your target, or leave the envelope laying somewhere to be found.
The person who you present it to or who finds it, naturally reads the label (as
seen above), and then feels the envelope. What they feel through the envelope is
the pin assembly, which sort of feels like a snake, and which of course doesn't
move, hinting that if there is a baby snake, it's probably dead.
If your victim is brave they'll then lift the tab and bow open the envelope to
have a look.
BAM! That's when it gets them.
By bowing
the envelope the washer is free to spin, and it does, striking the envelope's
side, imitating a snake's rattle and generally shaking the whole envelope. This
is usually when the victim yells something like "Bwaaahyaaaaa!" and
throws the envelope down.
Helpful hint - don't smirk when you hand your victim the envelope, as they'll
know something's up. Act concerned as you hand it to them.
