Another of the items that I think is
indispensable in the kitchen is scissors. These heavy duty lockable scissors can
be used to cut chicken bones, vegetables and herbs, open packages, and much
more.
They measure nine inches in total length, with the upper blade coming in at four
inches, the lower at 5 inches with the length of handle making the difference
between the upper and lower blades. The lower blade has notches in it to help
with gripping items such as bones, and the lower handle is a closed loop.
These scissors are spring loaded, with loading helping to open the scissors, and
can be locked closed when not in use with an easy to use thumb wheel.
